Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us — last updated July 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Flow Puzzle Games ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at flowpuzzlegames.com, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web-based puzzle game. By using Flow Puzzle Games, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
You can play without an account. Flow Puzzle Games does not require registration or login, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details to play.
Usage & Analytics Data: Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information through the third-party analytics services described in Section 4 — for example your device type, browser, screen size, approximate (country/city-level) location derived from your IP address, pages visited, and in-game interactions such as levels played and buttons tapped. This data is used in aggregate to fix bugs, balance level difficulty, and improve the game. We do not use it to identify you personally.
The primary data stored is your game progress — including levels completed, stars earned, hints used, and gameplay settings (audio preferences, notification opt-in status). This data is stored locally on your device using your browser's IndexedDB storage.
Push Notification Data: If you choose to enable push notifications, we store a push subscription token (a browser-generated, anonymous identifier) on our notification server. This token, along with an anonymous game-state snapshot (e.g. current level, streak count, hints available), is used solely to send you relevant gameplay reminders. No personal information is included. You can unsubscribe at any time via Settings.
3. Advertising & Google AdSense
Flow Puzzle Games displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense to support the free availability of the game. Google AdSense and its partners may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers to serve advertisements and measure their effectiveness.
Personalized Advertising: Google may use information collected through cookies to display personalized ads based on your browsing history and interests. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through:
- Google's Ad Settings: adssettings.google.com
- Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out: optout.networkadvertising.org
- Your browser's cookie settings and preferences
Non-Personalized Ads: If you opt out of personalization, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing behavior. For detailed information about how Google handles data in advertising, please visit Google's Privacy & Terms page at policies.google.com/privacy.
4. Analytics Services (Google Firebase & Microsoft Clarity)
We use two third-party analytics services to understand how the game is used and to improve it:
Google Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage events (e.g. levels started and completed, screens viewed, session length) together with technical information such as device type, browser, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Firebase uses identifiers stored in your browser to distinguish returning sessions. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics technologies across websites via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Microsoft Clarity: We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
Neither service is used by us to identify individual players by name, and neither receives your game progress, which stays on your device as described in Section 6.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Flow Puzzle Games itself does not set cookies for gameplay. However, the third-party services integrated into our site — Google AdSense, Google Firebase Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity — may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device. These may include:
- Ad delivery cookies — used to serve ads relevant to you and limit the number of times you see a particular ad.
- Analytics cookies — used to understand aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the game experience.
- Performance cookies — used to measure ad performance and attribution.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect ad delivery but will not impact gameplay.
6. Local Data Storage
All game progress is stored using your browser's IndexedDB database, which is a local, client-side storage mechanism. This data includes:
- Levels completed and star ratings across all 10 game worlds
- Hints remaining and bonus hints earned from star milestones
- Audio, haptic, and notification preference settings
- Daily streak and gameplay session activity data
- An anonymous device ID used for push notification subscriptions (if enabled)
This data exists only on your device and can be permanently deleted at any time using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings. Push notification subscriptions are also deleted from our server when you disable notifications or reset your progress.
7. Children's Privacy
Flow Puzzle Games is designed to be a family-friendly puzzle game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). The game does not require registration or collect contact details, so no age verification is necessary.
8. Data Security
Your game progress is stored locally on your device, and the analytics data described above is held by Google and Microsoft under their respective security programs — we do not operate our own database of player information. Our website is served over HTTPS to ensure secure communication between your browser and our servers.
9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding data processed by the third-party advertising and analytics services on our site:
- Right to opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings, and of Google Analytics via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Right to delete all locally stored game data via the Settings menu.
- Right to know what data is collected — as outlined in Sections 2–5 of this policy.
- Right of access, rectification, and erasure for data held by Google or Microsoft, exercisable through their privacy portals linked above, or by contacting us for assistance.
For any privacy-related inquiries, please contact us at support@flowpuzzlegames.com.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
Our game may display advertisements that link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
